Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

Until Done is a local-first reminder app. This page explains what data stays on your device and how optional Pro purchases are handled.

Local-first by design

Until Done stores your reminders in a local SQLite database on your device. Creating, editing, completing, and snoozing reminders does not require an account or a network connection.

What we store on your device

Reminder titles, schedules, timezones, recurrence settings, notification job metadata, and app preferences such as language and tonight time are saved locally so the app can work offline.

Notifications

Local notifications are scheduled on your device so reminders can fire even when the app is closed. Notification content uses the reminder details you created. We do not send your reminder content to a Until Done server for delivery.

Purchases and Pro

If you upgrade to Pro, purchase validation may be handled by a third-party billing provider (for example Apple, Google, or RevenueCat). Those providers process payment information under their own privacy policies. Until Done only needs to know whether Pro is unlocked on your device.

Analytics and tracking

The core Until Done experience is built to work without requiring you to create an account. We do not sell personal reminder data. If analytics or crash reporting are added later, they will be disclosed in this policy before they collect identifiable information.

Your choices

You can delete reminders at any time in the app. Uninstalling the app removes local reminder data from that device. You can also disable notification permission in your system settings.
